Why Volunteer?

The Soundscape Festival offers the opportunity to work at a fun and festive major event and the chance to add festival experience to your resume. A limited number of positions are available prior to, during, and after the event.

What positions are on offer?

In the days leading up to the festival, volunteers will assist setting up marquees, fences, the VIP area, signage and seating. On the day, customer service staff are required for the admission, food and beverage areas. Bar staff will require a current RSA certificate. On the days following the event volunteers will pack up and restore the site to it's original condition.

What rewards are on offer?

Apart from being part of a memorable event, the opportunity to add the festival to your resume, and a potential reference, volunteers will receive the following in exchange for 8 hours of their time:

Leadup to event - generous breaks, food and drinks, after work drinks, access to staff after-party and a ticket to the festival

On the day - generous breaks, food and drinks, after work drinks, access to staff after-party, staff tshirt, and a daily rate

Following days - generous breaks, food and drinks, after work drinks, access to staff after-party and a ticket to the festival (ticket will be purchased by volunteer and refunded after workday)
